Description: Imrab® 3 contains the same virus strain that is used in the Pasteur Merieux Connaught human vaccine. The virus is grown in a stable cell line inactivated and mixed with a safe and potent adjuvant. Safety and immunogenicity of this product have been demonstrated by vaccination and challenge tests in susceptible animals.
Indications: Imrab® 3 is recommended for the vaccination of healthy cats dogs sheep cattle horses and ferrets 12 weeks of age and older for prevention of disease due to rabies virus.
Dosage: Aseptically inject 1 mL (1 dose) subcutaneously or intramuscularly into healthy cats or dogs; 2 mL into healthy sheep cattle and horses. Inject 1 mL subcutaneously into healthy ferrets. Revaccinate ferrets cattle and horses annually; cats dogs and sheep 1 year after first vaccination then every 3 years.
Precautions: Store at 2-7°C (35-45°F). Do not freeze. Do not vaccinate food producing animals within 21 days prior to slaughter. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not use chemicals to sterilize syringes and needles. Contains gentamicin as a preservative. A transient local reaction may occur at the injection site following subcutaneous administration. Some reports suggest that in cats the administration of certain veterinary biologicals may induce the development of injection site fibrosarcomas. In rare instances administration of vaccines may cause lethargy fever and inflammatory or hypersensitivity types of reactions. Treatment may include antihistamines anti-inflammatories and/or epinephrine.

Rhinomune (EHV-1) Live Virus

Rhinomune (EHV-1) attenuated live virus for use in healthy horses as an aid in the prevention of infections of rhinopneumonitis. Vaccinate healthy horses 3 months of age or older with two doses, 3-4 weeks apart.

Adequan Equine

Adequan Equine is recommended for the intramuscular treatment of non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness of the carpal and hock joints in horses.

Borrelym Equine

Immunoserum anti Escherichia coli, Salmonella abortus equi, Streptococcusequi, Actinobacillus equinum nativum 100 ml, Phenolum, Borrelia garinii RP, Borrelia afzelii, Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto.

Dosage:  Double doses should be applied, half of it subcutaneously and the rest intravenously. The application can be repeated, if necessary. Subcutaneous or intravenous application should be used. The antibodies contained in equine serum ensure the immunity in animals for 21 – 28 days. Dynamics of resorption and usability of antibodies during various application methods is particularly important. The antibodies applied intravenously are contained directly in blood serum and their usability is 90%.

CLOSTRIDIUM BOTULINUM TYPE B TOXOID

Purified botulinum type B toxoid aluminum phosphate adsorbed. Preservative: 0.01% Thimerosal. Contains no more than 0.2% formaldehyde as inactivating solution.

INDICATIONS:
BotVax B is for the prevention of equine botulism due to Clostridium botulinum Type B in healthy horses.

DOSAGE:
Inject 2.0 mL intramuscularly at monthly intervals for a total of 3 doses. Booster annually with a single 2.0 mL intramuscular dose.
Research has demonstrated that pregnant mares immunized during the third trimester of gestation with the third dose (booster) given 2 - 4 weeks before parturition respond with antibody. This antibody is concentrated in colostrum and results in significant passively acquired antibody in normal sulking foals.

ADMINISTRATION:
Inject intramuscularly using aseptic technique. Shake well before use.

CAUTIONS:
Transitory local reactions at the injection site such as heat and minor swelling may occur. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Epinephrine is antidotal. Store at 2 - 7°C (35 - 45°F). Do not freeze. Use the entire contents when opened.
Do not vaccinate food producing animals within 21 days of slaughter.

Zylexis Immunomodulator 1ds

Zylexis is an immunomodulator consisting of killed parapox ovis virus. Zylexis aids in the reduction of upper respiratory disease associated with EHV-1 and EHV-4 that can be expensive to treat, and may compromise the health of other horses, resulting in lost training or competition time.

Indications: Zylexis is for use in healthy horses 4 months or older as an aid in reducing upper respiratory disease caused by equine herpes virus type 1 and 4.

Dosage and Administration: Zylexis Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried component with the sterile diluent provided. Repeat the 2-ml dose on days 2 and 9 following the initial dose. Retreatment is recommended during subsequent disease episodes or prior to stress-inducing situation.

Equine Influenza Vaccine
Modified Live Virus - For Intranasal Use Only

NOTE:
A new applicator should be used to vaccinate each horse. No needles are necessary to administer the vaccine. This vaccine is not intended for intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. For primary immunization a single dose is required in horses 11 months of age or older. Horses vaccinated at less than 11 months of age should be given a dose of the vaccine at age 11 months. Revaccination every six months is recommended. Horses at high risk of exposure may benefit from revaccination every three months.

COMPOSITION:
This vaccine is a lyophilized preparation containing an attenuated cold adapted viable A equine-2 influenza virus. Contains no preservatives.

INDICATIONS:
For the vaccination of healthy horses 11 months of age or older as an aid in the reduction of clinical disease and viral shedding caused by equine influenza viruses of both the American and Eurasian lineages.

Dosage and Administration:
Administer a single one (1.0) mL dose intranasally in one (1) nostril.
Single Dose Vial:

Step 1: Securely attach a nasal applicator to a 3-cc luer lock syringe.

Step 2: Remove the cap and rubber stopper from one vial of diluent and one vial of vaccine.

Step 3: Using the nasal applicator with the attached syringe draw 1 mL of the sterile diluent into the nasal applicator. The applicator should be nearly full no diluent should be drawn into the syringe. Transfer the sterile diluent to the lyophilized vaccine vial.

Step 4: Mix the vaccine and diluent in the vial with a gentle swirling motion. Once dissolved immediately withdraw the full amount of rehydrated vaccine into the nasal applicator. Take caution to do draw vaccine into the syringe.

Step 5: Place the full length of the applicator into the nasal passage. The syringe should still be in full view outside the nostril. Once in place depress the plunger to administer the vaccine over approximately a 1-second interval. Withdraw and discard the applicator and syringe.

Step 6: After vaccination there may be some residual vaccine in the applicator and a small amount may drip out of the nostril. This is normal vaccination has been completed successfully.

Five Dose Vial:


Step 1: Use a syringe and needle to transfer the entire amount of the sterile diluent to the lyophilized vaccine vial. Mix the vaccine and diluent in the vial with a gentle swirling motion.

Step 2: Once dissolved remove the seal and rubber stopper from the vial.
