Sheep & Goat Vaccine

Bar-Vac CD/T

Will immunize healthy sheep, goats and cattle against Enterotoxemia and Tetanus caused by the toxins of Cl. perfringens types C & D and Cl. tetani. Dosage: Cattle – 5 ml; Sheep & goats – 2 ml subcut. Repeat in 21-28 days and annually.

Campylobacter Fetus Bacterin

Inactivated cultures of Campylobacter fetus for the vaccination of healthy ewes against Vibriosis. Dosage: 5 ml subcut shortly before breeding, repeat in 60-90 days. Booster annually prior to subsequent breeding. 21 day slaughter withdrawal.

Footvax

A multi-strain killed bacterin for the prevention and treatment of Footrot in sheep. Dosage: 1 ml subcut in the anterior half of the neck. Repeat not sooner than 6 wks and no later than 6 mos. Revaccinate bi-annually or just prior to anticipated outbreak. 60 day slaughter withdrawal.

Ovine Ecthyma

Live virus for the immunization of healthy sheep & goats against Ovine ecthyma (sore mouth). Dosage: Scratch or scarify outer layer of skin and rub 1 drop of rehydrated vaccine well into the area. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter or within 24 hours of dipping or spraying operations.

Covexin 8

For the vaccination of healthy cattle and sheep against diseases caused by Cl. chauvoei, septicum, novyi type B, haemolyticum, tetani & perfringens types C & D. Immunity may be provided against type B. Dosage: Cattle - 5 ml IM or subcut, repeat in 6 wks. Sheep - 5 ml subcut at 10-12 wks of age, followed by 2 ml in 6 wks. Revaccinate annually. Cattle & sheep should be revaccinated for Cl. novyi & haemolyticum every 5-6 mos. 21 day slaughter withdrawal.

Caseous-DT

For vaccination of healthy sheep to protect against Enterotoxemia caused by Cl. perfringens type D, Toxemia caused by Cl. tetani, and to aid in the prevention and control of Caseous lymphadenitis caused by C. pseudotuberculosis. Dosage: 2 ml subcut, repeat in 4 wks. Revaccinate annually. 21 day slaughter withdrawal.
